Flower preservation is the process of carefully drying and preserving meaningful flowers so they can be displayed and enjoyed for years to come.

At ResinIt, your flowers are carefully dried before being arranged and cast in resin to create a beautiful, handmade keepsake.

Use the availability calendar on the website to check whether your date is available. If there is space, you can select your date and pay the £30 booking deposit to secure your place in the ResinIt diary.

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive information explaining how and when to send or deliver your flowers.

Availability is limited, particularly during wedding season, so booking in advance is strongly recommended.

For funeral flowers or other occasions where advance booking may not be possible, please contact me as soon as you can. I will always help where my availability allows.

No. The £30 deposit secures your date, giving you time to browse the flower preservation collection and decide which keepsakes you would like.

The products and prices displayed on the website are there to help you explore the available options. Your final order details will be confirmed separately and your booking deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your order.

A £30 deposit is required to secure your date.

Once your flowers have arrived and your final order has been confirmed, you’ll receive an invoice for 50% of the order value. Work on your order cannot begin until this payment has been received.

The remaining balance will be due when your keepsakes are complete and ready for collection or delivery.

There is no minimum order value; however, flower preservation orders with a total keepsake value below £150 will have a £30 drying fee added.

This fee contributes towards the time, specialist materials and care required to dry and prepare your flowers, regardless of the number or size of keepsakes ordered.

Most flowers can be preserved, although every variety dries differently. Some flowers retain their shape and colour particularly well, while more delicate blooms may require additional care or experience greater changes.

Fresh, dried and artificial flowers can all be included. If you are unsure whether your flowers are suitable, please get in touch before sending them.

Some natural changes should always be expected during the drying and resin-casting process.

Flowers may shrink slightly or change shape as their moisture is removed. Colours can become deeper, softer or warmer, and white flowers commonly dry to cream, ivory or pale yellow tones.

Some flowers may also develop small translucent areas when placed in resin. These natural variations are not faults; they form part of the organic flower-preservation process and make every finished keepsake unique.

Flower preservation is a lengthy, handmade process and can take up to eight months to complete.

This includes drying your flowers, planning the design, pouring the resin in stages, curing, sanding, finishing and polishing. Completion times can vary depending on the size and complexity of your order, seasonal demand, temperature and humidity.

You will be contacted as soon as your order is complete. Please remember that seeing a piece being demoulded does not mean it is finished—there are still several important finishing stages to complete.

Keep your flowers as fresh as possible by placing the stems in clean, fresh water and storing them somewhere cool and away from direct sunlight. Avoid using a refridgerator as this can cause more damage than good!

Please do not spray them with hairspray, perfume or other chemicals, as these may affect the drying or resin-casting process.

Your flowers should arrive as soon as possible after your wedding, funeral or special occasion—ideally within seven days.

Please follow the Flower Shipping Guide carefully when packaging your flowers and always include your name, contact details and order information inside the parcel. Never send flowers in plastic bags or sealed plastic containers, as this can trap moisture and encourage mould.

If you are delivering your flowers in person, this must be arranged in advance.

Usually not. More flowers are required than will fit into your chosen keepsakes so that I can select the blooms that have dried best and create the most balanced design possible.

Flowers that are damaged, badly bruised or do not dry successfully may not be suitable for use.

Yes. If you would like your unused dried flowers returned, please request this when confirming your order.

An additional postage charge may apply. Dried flowers are extremely delicate, so ResinIt cannot accept responsibility for damage that may occur while they are being returned.

Unless their return has been requested, unused flowers will be respectfully disposed of after your order has been completed.

Every effort is made to minimise bubbles, including careful pouring and degassing the resin. However, flowers contain many tiny layers, textures and pockets where air can become trapped.

Small bubbles or natural variations may therefore occasionally be visible and are part of the handmade nature of flower preservation rather than a defect.

Keep your resin keepsake away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture and humidity. Resin is water-resistant but not waterproof.

Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Gently remove dust using a soft, dry cloth. Your keepsake should be handled carefully and should not be dropped or placed near an open flame.

As with most resin products, some gradual colour change may naturally occur over time.

Every ResinIt keepsake is carefully handmade using your unique flowers, and natural variations are an expected part of the preservation process.
