These Booking Terms apply when reserving a date for flower preservation with ResinIt. They should be read alongside ResinIt’s full Terms & Conditions.
Reserving Your Date
A £30 booking payment is required to reserve space in the ResinIt studio diary for your flowers.This £30 will be credited towards the total cost of your flower preservation order.Your booking reserves studio capacity for your flowers. You do not need to choose your final keepsakes when reserving your date unless you would like to. Your booking is confirmed once the booking process has been completed and the £30 booking payment has been received.
After Your Event
Your flowers should be delivered or posted to ResinIt as soon as reasonably possible after your event and in accordance with the Flower Shipping Guide. Flowers are natural materials and their condition will begin to change after they are cut. ResinIt cannot be responsible for deterioration that occurs before the flowers are received. Once your flowers have arrived and your final keepsakes have been agreed, an invoice will be issued.
50% of the total order value is payable at this stage, taking account of the £30 already paid. Your order will not progress to the next stage until this payment has been received. The remaining balance is due once your keepsakes are complete and before dispatch or collection.
Orders Under £150
Where the total value of your flower preservation keepsakes is below £150, an additional £30 drying fee will apply. This covers the drying and preparation process required for your flowers, regardless of the number or size of keepsakes being created.
Completion Times
Flower preservation is a careful, multi-stage process and can take up to 8 months to complete. This is an estimated maximum timescale rather than a guaranteed completion date. Drying times, flower condition, the complexity of your order, resin curing and other factors can affect completion times.
Natural Changes to Flowers
Flowers naturally change during drying and preservation. Colours may lighten, deepen, cream, yellow, darken or become translucent, and the shape or texture of individual flowers may change. While ResinIt uses appropriate professional preservation techniques, exact colour, shape and appearance cannot be guaranteed.
Funeral & Memorial Flowers
Funeral and memorial flowers do not need to be reserved through the advance-booking calendar. Please contact ResinIt directly as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate your flowers, subject to studio availability and the condition of the flowers.
Changing or Cancelling Your Booking
If your event date changes, please contact ResinIt as soon as possible. I will do my best to move your booking to another available date, although alternative availability cannot be guaranteed. If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact ResinIt as soon as possible.
Any amount retained from your £30 booking payment will be limited to an amount that is fair and proportionate to losses resulting from the cancellation. Where the reserved studio capacity can be filled by another customer, this will be taken into account.
Once flowers have been received and drying, preservation or other bespoke work has started, different cancellation provisions may apply.
